"Amazing & Considerate" parking!

Check out this "amazing" red Proton Iswara! Soooooo 'considerate' of the driver!

The cornering of that road is so sharp, yet he/she could just park his/her car like that and causing danger to other road users! PATHETIC!

Bottleneck thanks to inconsiderate road users

This is main road of Choong Nam area (Reservoir Garden) in PG Island. Every evening, there will be many cars parked at roadside causing bottleneck (from 2-lane into single lane) to the traffic flow of the main road.

There are 'proper' parking inside the housing areas...YET some folks are too blardee lazy to walk a 'distance' to the coffee shops for dinner. RIDICULOUS!

I've actually called up Police Hotline to complain, and guess what... The policeman said many times they'd summoned those illegal parking cars but to no avail. A pathetic mindset/behaviour (of those blardee road users) is hard to be changed! Nowadays, not everyone is considerate and most are too selfish!

More than 5-foot way lah!!

This is snapshot of the pavement or walkway besides Han Chiang primary school in PG Island.

Always traffic jam like mad during off-school hour in the evening (>6:30pm) where many 'inconsiderate' parents would just park at roadside waiting to pick up the children. The entire lane is 'blocked' and other drivers would have to "wait" for no opposite direction traffic to 'overtake' and move on.

On the other hand, the school also disallow parents from driving into school compound to pick up the children - INTERESTING!!

This is 'almost' a common issue at all schools in PG Island (no idea about other states or countries...)

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

The Warner Bros. Pictures and DreamWorks Pictures co-production presents Depp as Sweeney Todd, a man unjustly sent to prison, who vows revenge not only for the cruel punishment but for the devastating consequences of what happened to his wife and daughter.

When he returns to reopen his barber shop, he becomes the Demon Barber of Fleet Street who “shaved the heads of gentleman who never thereafter were heard from again.” Also starring in the Parkes/MacDonald and Zanuck Company production is Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs. Lovett who creates her diabolical meat pies while becoming Sweeney’s amorous accomplice. Alan Rickman is the evil Judge Turpin who sent him unfairly to prison, thereby sowing the seeds of Sweeney’s vengeance. Timothy Spall plays the Judge’s wicked associate Beadle Bamford. Sacha Baron Cohen is a rival barber, the flamboyant Signor Adolfo Pirelli, and Christopher Lee takes on the role of the gentleman ghost. Rounding out the cast are Jamie Campbell Bowen as the young sailor Anthony, Jayne Wisener as Johanna, Laura Michelle Kelly as the beggar women, and newcomer Ed Sanders plays Toby.

My thoughts? This is another dark movie! It was excruciating having to bear all the singing in the movie! But I must say Depp could actually sing quite well...hehe

Oh by the way, if you plan to eat pie (whatever meat) in the cinema or at home (if you're watching DVD)... I advice you NOT TO! Muahahaha

Gabriel

"Gabriel" is a compelling movie that follows the journey of the Arc Angel, Gabriel as he seeks to bring back The Light in the world of Purgatory.

For centuries, a secret war has raged between Arc Angels, the guardians of The Light and the Fallen, guardians of The Dark, over the souls of the inhabitants of Purgatory. All looks to be lost. Now The Light sends its last warrior, the Arc Angel Gabriel who must take on a human form and one by one, kill the Fallen.

The fate of the realm of The Light now rest in Gabriel’s hands.

This is a dark movie... I was kinda disappointed with the little amount of fighting scenes! Sigh! There's only one female Arc Angel... so-so looking (you'll be the judge for yourself la... individual taste :P) And what pathetic ending...hmmm

The Game Plan

"The Game Plan" is the story of superstar quarterback Joe Kingman (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson... "Do you smelllllll what The Rock isssssss cooking?!?!), whose Boston-based team is chasing a championship. A 'serial bachelor', Kingman is living the ultimate fantasy: he's rich, famous and is the life of the party. Not forgetting he's handsome?

But this dream suddenly ends when he meets the seven-year-old daughter (newcomer Madison Pettis... well, not really a newcomer. She's actually in Disney Original Series "Cory in the House") he never knew he had - the product of a last fling before parting years ago with his young wife. Now, during the most important time in his career, he must figure out how to juggle his parties, practices and dates with ballet classes, bedtime stories and dolls that come with his daughter.

Equally perplexed is his agent, Stella (Kyra Sedgwick) who is without a parental bone in her body. Joe discovers that there's more to life than money and fame....

Overall, this was a touching story. Brilliant showcase of The Rock talent in comedy after few action movies we've seen him in before. Madison Pettis is also talented and very adorable... a bright future for her I must say :)
